Pinky Cole has just achieved another amazing feat in her already storied entrepreneurial journey. The CAU alum and restaurateur was recently announced as Chief Restaurant Advisor for online food delivery juggernaut Doordash. The position is the first of it’s kind in the industry and was created in the aims of building the bridge between Doordash and the restaurants that they partner with. Cole is the second restaurateur to serve in the position with Bravo Top Chef Alum Stephanie Izard serving as the inaugural advisor the year prior.
In this role, Cole will lead conversations within the industry with Doordash leaders and other fellow restaurant owners via roundtable conversations, strategy meetings and feedback sessions. Before Cole started Slutty Vegan, she worked as a Doordasher in Los Angeles. She believes her new appointment has made her journey come full circle.
“Before beginning Slutty Vegan, I worked as a Dasher in Los Angeles – so serving as Chief Restaurant Advisor is a full-circle moment for me. Putting the pandemic aside, the restaurant industry is unpredictable. I’m excited to get to work with DoorDash to ensure restaurants will have appropriate resources to succeed regardless of the hand that’s dealt.”

Pinky continues a year of unprecedented success. She recently announced a sneaker collaboration with Steve Madden, product placement in Target and a viral story first aggregated by HBCU Pulse stemming from her awarding LLC’s to Clark Atlanta University’s Graduating Spring Class of 2022.
