An early morning mass shooting occurred in Norfolk, Virginia injuring seven people including Norfolk State students.
The shooting happened at Midnight on the 5000 Block of Killam Avenue. According to reports from local law enforcement, seven people were rushed to a nearby hospital with two suffering from life-threatening injuries and five others from non-life-threatening wounds.

CNN reports that Norfolk State confirmed that there were students that were victims of the shooting but the university didn’t specify how many. The university also addressed the incident via the institution’s social media accounts.
